The older you are the harder it is. I have found a personal trainer helps allot and going to the gym. Even a personal trainer for a short while they can show you how to do exercises for areas you want to target. And after your sessions are thru just keep doing them.
Working out with the fitness channel helps too.

Go to a dietician. Try a diet plan. Weight Watchers works great if you do it well. EXCERCISE IS SO IMPORTANT. You will not lose weight if you don't watch what you eat and don't exercise!
