girls reach puberty from the age of 9 to 16. it depends on people. black people reach puberty earlier than white ones. Most of the girls reach puberty between the ages 12 to 14. the sign of reaching puberty is having the menstrual period. puberty varies a lot between people, it is inherited

Other Answers:
well i think there's a possibility. but it says that it's from ages 9-13 or 14.
Girls can start puberty from anywhere between the ages of 9 and and the teen years. It is possible to start puberty at 16, but most people would sense something is wrong and go to the doctor. Most of the time, it's just that the person is a late bloomer!
I know that I did, however, that was a long time ago. These days girls are getting their periods at an increasingly young age. Nine or ten is pretty near normal but when I was a girl it was almost unheard of.
With all the emphasis on sex these days I don't think the girls are really better off because of it either.
yes, especially athletes. some gymnasts may not even start until they are 22 (that's why they all look like they are 11 years old and flat chested)! and of course genetics plays apart.
That would be a really late age for a girl. Usually puberty starts around 10-12 years old (although I've heard of it as early as 8) and continues for several years, but a 16-year-old who's just starting would definitely be a "late bloomer"!
