This is my first pregnancy and I was having no difficulty at all we found out during a ultrasound that ithere was no heart beat and had to have a D&C. After the D&C we went to the first apt. and was told that the pregnancy was a partical molar. I'm really confused and don't know what to do. if anyone can give me some insight on what to expect.

your body thought it was pregnant so that's why your HCG was elevated. the cells don't develop the correct way into a fetus but it tells your body you are pregnant. The chance of reoccurence( according to my text book) is 1%. Little is known about why this happens. Good luck in the future.
