What do you do for a problem with your ovary?

For the last week I have had a bad pain on the right side of my lower abdomen. I had a pelvic ultrasound done and the preliminary results show a problem with my right ovary. I have not gotten the final results yet. Has anyone had this problem? What did the doctor do to fix the problem? I also have periods of nausea associated with the pain.

I have ovarian cysts and have the pains but your doctor has to be explicit on what the problem is. Cysts can sometimes be shrunk with birth control. Speak to your doctor and they will know what to do
your doctor has not been explicit enough with you. You probably have some sort of ovarian cyst, and depending on the type, will determine the treatment.
