It`s true if you get your period you lose weight i had my period and i havent lost any weight?

my friend says i cant wait to have my period to lose some weight i was like wtf i have my period and i havent lost any weight so do you think thats true for some girls

Okay let me explain it to u from an older female to a younger one. Just before your period you start holding extra water in your body.Like 5 pds worth. Then u have your period and you lose not only blood but all the water...Thats all it is..5 POUNDS OF WATER

your friend is wrong maybe she thinks that if you have your period you bloat but after u feel "skinny" so maybe she thinks that's loseing wieght
Most women get bloated and gain water weight so your friend is definately special. I wish I had that. All I get is a huge chocoate craving and end up gaining in the end,
maybe some girls who are so crampy they dont eat at all during thier period lose weight but i always bloat during mine so that would indicate i gained a lot of water weight during my period
No that's not true, if you did start losing weight as a result of your period it would mean something bad. Exercise is the only way to go. Don't feel bad if your on your period and gain some water weight, it goes away once you stop menstruating.

i dont think this is true, people are more likely to gain weight when they get their period, not lose it
Not true....aren't you glad you've got us to clear these things up! If that were true....that be the easiest diet around and we'd all be skinny! But just the opposite...we gain (just a bit) during that cycle! It's retention!
