my birthmark makes me feel uncomfortable?

Question:

i have birthmark dark brown the size of my fist on the back of my left leg. it makes me really self concious when im around my boyfriend.. ive tried to live with it.. but its just.. well.. THERE and almost everybody asks me "did you get burned" and i always have to explain. i have asked my parents for laser surgury but no.. its too expensive! im seeing if some fading cream will work. any other ideas?

Everyone has something about themselves that they don't like or are embarassed by. Take a real good look at your boyfriend would you like him any less if he had the same mark? Why don't you ask him what he would like to change about his physical appearance then everytime you start to feel embarrassed remember that he has something he would like to change too. If he tells you that he is perfect and would change nothing about himself then dump him. He's either a liar or completely full of himself and you could find someone to love you and himself -imperfections and all. Smile at the beauty that makes you special.

aw i have a birthmark on the back of my calf about the size if a dime, and it always made me uncomfortable , don't know why.
I hated wearing skirts in school because it would show so i covered it with a baned aid. and after a while someone said why do you always have a band aid on your leg.

Get it surgically removed

i have the same prob but its right under my armpit... usually my bra covers it, but i can never wear string bikinis, mines is the size of one of those oval pennies u get as a souvenier and its as dark as a mole! i h8 it! everyone keeps asking me if theres a leaf stuck under my bikini top and such.. but my mom said that when i get out of the house i can remove it for about one grand.. so save ur money... and ive found that really thick creamy moussy foundations and creams piled on top of each other can totally lighten it by like 10 shades. hope it helped!
