about smears?

Question: i hate smears and havent got one done in about 5yrs im due one but im afraid of the way you have to lay what can i do to take the fear of me my doctor keeps telling me im due one but i keep putting it off i know its important what can i do

Take a Valium and a pain pill and get on with it. Part of being an adult id doing things we don't want to do. You might feel more comfortable if you can see what is going on, so ask the doctor to use mirrors for you. Get it done.
