Answers:
You MUST go to a gynocologist. If you already have, you must contact him/her and tell them about your problems. It could be something serious- a doc will help, and it may be nothing at all- you will feel better for calling. Either way you win. Check out webmd also.

Other Answers:
Check out websites like plannedparenthood.org or medlineplus.gov. They are reliable sites for information about it. Also, talk to your doctor. They will be able to help you answer any questions you have.

Talk to your gyno about your problem. I have hpv as well, but I think I have a different type than you because I have lesions. You can do a google search on hpv and there are tons of informative sites. Or try checking webmd.com. Did you know that if you keep yourself healthy and don't smoke, your immune system will defeat the virus within 1-2 years? 4 out of 5 Americans get it at some point in their life as well, so it is very common and not a big deal to have it. The worst thing that can happen is the warts, or the lesions, which may lead to cervical cancer, but that can be prevented with regular paps and colposcopies. But thats my best advice. Your best bet is to go talk to the doctor and find out it the hpv has anything to do with your period problems. You could have something else wrong with you all together. I hope that helped you some!
