extreem pain?

i have a lot of pain above my pelvic..... and i had a somewhat normal period that stoped two days ago and now im bleeding again with treamendous pain in my abdomen....im going to the doctors after work because im the only one here at the office right now so i cant leave i was just wondering what it could be so i could have somewhat an idea of whats happening

Cystic ovaries can hurt like hell. If it is one-sided, depending on which side you are ovulating, that may be a clue. An ultrasound would diagnose that. Like the other nurse said, an infection could be the culprit. They will probably do an exam and take a urine sample. Has it happened before? Sorry you're going through it.
