what is the device called that stops your period using progesterone that works like iud is it called miricna?

Question:

Answers:
I believe what you are referring to is the Mirena IUD. It contains a kind of progestin called levonorgestrel, which blocks sperm and alters the lining of the uterus, interrupting implantation of a fertilized egg. It provides protection of five years. It is 99.9% effective, which by the way, is more effective than getting your tubes tied, yet it is totally reversible. The hormone in Mirena helps shrink uterine fibroids, decreases menstrual cramping, can reduce period blood loss by 97%. Within a year of using Mirena, many women stop getting their periods altogether. It may also lower your risk of endometrial cancer. The down-side of this birth control method is you may experience some irregular bleeding which typically lasts for a few months after insertion. Also, some women's bodies will expel their IUD durning the first year of use, but this is a risk with any IUD. There is also a 1 in 1000 chance your uterus will be perforated during insertion, possibly resulting in complications, but this is a rare occurence.

Yhwh made your cycle and nature. You can't mess with any of them.

If you are having pain, take magnesium amino acid chelate, 100 mg every 3 hours.
its an IUD.. and its the DEVIL!! don't go there! I had one removed last month due to recurrent infections, spotting, and severe pain (enough to put me on narcotic pain meds for about 3 months)
only about 3 percent of women who get these can tolerate them.. your gyno won't tell u that, however your family doc will. thats what happend to me.
