What should I do if I accidently take 2 birthcontrol pills in one day?

Question:
Should I take another pill at my regular time the next day? If I do I will be a day ahead of the day listed on my pills forever!

Answers:
If you want your pills to be on the correct day, skip a pill, but don't have sex for a week without a condom. That's what the doc told me when it happened to me.

You can also call a 24 hour pharmacy, the pharmacist can help u. :)

I would consult a dr and ask what to do.....I always had the problem of forgetting to take them not taking two.

The instructions included with the pills typically answer this question. If you didn't save them from your last refill, get another refill right away and read them. I would expect that they would state to continue taking single pills until the month's supply is exhausted, then start the next month in the usual manner.
I don't think there is a problem. Just go on with your next one when scheduled. In the insert that comes with the pills, there should be a little set of stickers so you can readjust the "day" you are taking the pill.

If you are taking the ones with the 3 weeks of regular pills and then 1 week of placebos (or iron), then just skip one of the placebos and you will be back on track after this time.
