Question about white fluid discharge from vagina?

Question:
Hello,

My partner and myself had unprotected sex. And, about 2 days later my wife is expieriencing some sort of whitish thin fluid discharge from her vagina. It is also sometimes a bit yellowish in color. Now, we had sex almost a day before she was suppose to have her periods, therefore I believe this was safe period in terms of pregnancy. However, we are very very concered. We are going to get a pregnancy test very soon.

But, if anyone has any information on the white fluid discharge, please let me know. Also, our concern is that we had sex just a day before her periods, her periods have delayed or something. They should have started by now. Please let me know, what steps we need to take. Also, what the whitish/yellowish fluid charge indicates.

Thanks in advance.

Answers:
First if your partner is your wife then it may make it easier to help you. Women get white discharges at different times of the month depending on the time they are at in their cycle. If it was w/in 2-3 days of her period it may have been her first blood show with lubricating jellies that our bodies naturally make. If, however , it smells funny like fishy or nasty that can be a yeast infection or other infection. Despite what many people think a yeast infection is not caused from anything nasty. It is simply an overgrowth of the yeast that is naturally in our bodies. I would not suggest self-treatment for it the first time though she should go see her doctor and he can tell her what to use.

Other Answers:
go to the doctor, she has an infection they need to identify it and treat it, always use a condom no matter what day it is.
Just out of curiousity... how do you know the color of her discharge? Sorry.....

A change in the color of the discharge is normal when it comes to different stages of her cycle. She should know the pattern.
Your wife needs to see a obgyn. It could be a yeast infection, or something worse, she needs to get checked out by her Dr
If you came inside her, then it is probably the semen coming out, thin white fluid is normal, if it is not foul smelling....take the test, and if the fluid concerns you go see a doc. it is probably nothing to worry about.
She needs to see a doctor, the discharge could be a yeast infection. She could also get a pregnancy test done, although it would depend on how long it has been since the relations took place. Don't panic, just see a doctor.
Most likely your semen dripping out.
better get to the doctor. if you cannot afford it go to the county health dept. female infections are nothing to joke about, if you let it go the infection could cause real damage
