Sorry, but another female question!?

Question:
Hey girls. Sorry i keep asking questions about periods and all that, but i just discovered.mk, so i started yesterday (as most of you know) so i would expect at the beginning to have a slightly heavy flow. But i just changed the pad about a half an hour ago, and i checked it and it was all filled up. Is it normal for it to fill up like this at the beginning? Please help. im worried this isnt normal and i dont know what to do!

Answers:
Dont worry it's perfectly fine!
Most girls are like this, especially at the beginning of a period.

Just be careful to stay away from salty foods that make you bloated on periods!

Other Answers:
Don't worry. Periods change with time. Sometimes you are heavy, sometimes you are light. When you first start, its normal to be heavy! If you are still worried, ask a trusting friend, mother, or dr.
When girls first start their periods, their hormones are out of control. This causes the over the top cramping, the flooding and the bloating that really kills you. It's normal and in a few years it will control itself and you won't have this problem. If you can't live through it, talk to your doctor about birth control. This will regulate your hormones, control the bleeding and help with cramps.
it may be very normal. however, if it keeps up check with your ob Dr thanks honey.

yes!! i was just the same. when i first started. my period would not make uo its mind lol.. one minute my flow was very heavy. next it would take hours for blood to appear. i would find clots of blood and more watery blood. i could also make out patches ofblood of different colours, some red, some orange. this is however all perfectly normal. u will also take time to get into a routineof a set amount of days. you may hear friends say "im usuallly on for (however many) days" but it can take up to a year for your body to do this. one month you will be one for example, 4 days, then the next month 6 days, after that 5 days etc but eventually u will get into a routine and you will be able to work out which days u can expect your period. so always keep a towel handy. its a good idea to make note of the days in which you are on your period so you can see the pattern. if you get pains, try a nice warm bath and do exercise. you may not feel like exercising but it will really help. sorry if i have gone a lil off topic, just felt i should add it in lol you are perfectly normal - so enjoy womanhood!
Hi there. what you're experiencing is perfectly normal. When I first started, I spotted for three days- barely there. Then I started again 28 days later, and didn't stop for a month, and each day was very heavy with severe cramping that sent me home from school a couple of times because I couldn't sit in my chair. I had one day off, and then I started again for another month. I became very anemic and an emotional wreck, so the doctor put me on birth control. My periods have been heaven ever since- lasting 3 days with minimal to no cramping. If you want to, you can wait it out and see how things will go for yourself. Or, if you don't feel like playing the waiting game, you can go speak with your doctor about birth control. It all depends on how you feel about it.
Don't Worry It's Normal!
it's all normal, i was in the same situation and i just started my first period 3 day ago..
