Yes! you can even swim on your period it won't hurt anything? you wont bleed while in water it's like taking a bath the bleeding will stop and start back after you been out the pool for a while.
Other Answers:
read the directions in the box to see how to use properly, but tampons are used to make swimming possible
number one, take a pregnancy test.
but there's no rule that you have to absolutely have started your period in order to use a tampon..if you think you're going to start soon, get a regular or light flow one and use that when you go swimming.that way you're covered either way..and if you don't start while swimming, just take it back out when you're done.
It's not likely to show up in the pool if you do that
You should know by Sunday morning if you have your period or not. Pay attention to increase mucus that is tinged pink or brown right before your period starts. If there are no signs, I'd swim that day because I found that when bathing or showering, there is usually not leaking.
If your period was suppose to start Wednesday and has not, you won't know if it is O.K. to go swimming until Sunday, not on Friday. If you went swimming on your period without a tampon, it could embarrassing for you.
No, don't go swimming yet becuae periods can be irrugualr and you could end up starting your period while you are in the pool. Not a good thing, but I must say that using a tampon is fairly easy and if you just try, i bet you'll see just how easy it is. I was very scared to try when I first started my period, but when i finally tried, it was way easier than I thought. Try it out and you'll realize that it is easy and way more comortable. Ask your mom or you best friend how to use one. There are also directions on the box. Good luck! :o)
first if you have your period when you get in water for some reason it stops but learn how to us a tampon ask your mom or read the direction but rember not to leave the tampon in to long
Try inserting a tampon when you're period is off and use KY jelly to lubricate the tip. For some women it's easy, other women have to practice, practice, practice.
