Can hormones be affected by general anasthesia?

Question:
I had surgery and was advised that my hormonal changes could be due to anesthesia.

Answers:
I agree. I don't think anesthesia alone will effect your hormones. But the stress of any surgery can cause your period to come around alot faster than normal.
Be good to yourself and drink lots of water to flush out all that anesthesia.

Other Answers:
I don't know. But I would imagine that the stress of surgery certainly could do so.

I have no idea what it is caused from, because Thats what happened to me. good luck dont panic because its normal.
