Questions about the Mirena IUD and any complications that may arise?

Question:
I got the MIRENA IUD on Monday. The doctor told me to wait for sex and I have not had intercourse. I was cramping up until Wednesday really bad. Last night, my boyfriend and I were fooling around and I did have an orgasm. I had a severe cramp right after. It only lasted a couple seconds, but should I be worried?

Answers:
Your problem may again recur to certain extent, but soon you will get used to it. There are millions of ladies using IUD with ease and have no overt problems. Continue with its use and forget all your worries and about the IUD in your womb. If and when you have an unbearable pain or a cramp, please take one Aspirin or Tynelol and check the presence of the threads that are left out for examination by the patient or by the doctor. If the thread is still there, there is no need for any worry. Cheer Up.
i had an iud for 5 years i found my cramps were worse when i had my period. occasionally i would cramp slightly after an orgasm. after a couple months things were back to normal and i was fine. just a little warning though it hurts more coming out then going in so when you get it removed be prepared
