to ensure conception, must the sex contact be done everyday during the fertile period?

Question:

Answers:
My ob/gyn said to have sex every other day

Other Answers:
no, no, no. My wife and i tried it that way for a year. we finally gave up worrying about it and just let it happen naturally. We had sex twice that month because we were frankly tired of it. 9 months later our firstborn came along.
you are only fertile the day you actually ovulate, usually once a month (when the egg is released and the sperm can get to it)- but sperm sometimes live longer than 12 hours so you may still get pregnant if you have relations the day before you ovulate because the sperm will be near the egg when it's released.
Just anyday before ovulation (say during the three days before ovulation) or on ovulation day.
