My girlfriend has a rash around her vagina and inner thigh area, What could it be?

Question:
It started this past wednesday and has been getting worse. She did just try using a Noxzema Bikini Soothe and Smooth cream she never used earlier on wednesday. She used it twice, the first time she said she noticed it itched more so she just reapplied it later thinking it would help. Now she was in tears tonight Thursday from the itching pain. Is it possible it could be an allergic reaction to the cream and if so how long before you think it would subside. And what treatment would be best.

Answers:
hydrocortizone cream and cold packs I had the same thing happen. I feel for her.it was horrible. it took about 2 weeks to clear up and a few days for the itch to stop completely. just keep applying the cream.

Other Answers:
Get her some Benadryl for the itch and take her to the doctor.
it sounds like a allergic reaction try diaper rash cream it works wonders on any rash
Have her take antihistamines(Benadryl) three times a day until the rash goes away, and warm baths with epsom salt in the bath water once a day. It is very likely it is an allergic reaction to an ingredient in the cream. If the rash persists, seek medical help.
Well, if she shaves, it might well be a bad case of razor burn, she may not have used a good shaving base, or may have used a dull razor. I suggest cocoa butter, or even Vaseline, things that are very greasy will soothe the skin and keep it from being dry which makes itchiness worse. Also, tight panties and jeans can make for rashes, due to bacteria building up in the area, because bacteria like warm, moist places. Try cotton panties and looser clothes for a few days, and dont wear thongs. Have an undie-free sleep to give her body some room to breathe. Next time you shave, if razor burn is the culprit, try shaving with a thick body wash or even lotion to lessen the likely hood of nasty bumps popping up. Hope this helps!
If she is kinda heavy(not dissin your girl) it could be chafing or heat rash, thats when the skin there gets irratated from constant rubbing agianst other skin,or underwear.try gold bond medicated powder.
first of all, you need to see a gynecologist or dermatologist. Please don't waste time with that. It might also be a new illness
She better change her boyfriend.

I'm joking. Anyway I suggest "Betnevate cream (for rashes)". And not to use soap around the area when having wash and baths.

Before all, please ask her to see a skin specialist. He will advise her what to do. They might exactly know what kind of disease it is.
yea its an allergic reaction.u should take her to the hospital, or get the cream and read on the back label wut u should do, if an allergic reaction accured. and when you go to the doctors dont forget the cream, and explain to the doc, wut happened. dont b shy, ppl get rashes.
that sounds like jock itch dude. tell her to soak in warm water with apple cider vinegar in it. that works for so many skin conditions.
Am I correct that Noxzema Bikini Soothe is a Depilatory? (Cream that removes hair). Many people are sensitive to depilatories in general. It dissolves hair so it can't be all that gentle.

Find out which of these your girlfriend has in her home and gather them together.

Antihistamines, Advil or Aleve are better than Tylenol because they bring down inflammation.,
Bath in Aveno Oatmeal bath, Epson Salt bath

Aveno or Bonds Medicated cream (not for the vaginal area), The Bonds Extra Strong in the Green Bottle works wonders.
Hydro-cortisone cream, Any Analgesic cream (pain killer cream)

Baking Powder from the kitchen or Bonds Extra Strong Medicated Powder

Ice Packs and Air.
Baking Powder, No Tight clothing

See What she may already have of these items in her home, have them in front of you and then Call your all night drug store in your area and speak with the pharmacist. They can recommend what to use.

With any or all of these suggestions she should be on the mend. Noticeably getting a little better by tomorrow. Otherwise get to the doctors. As long as she is improving she'll be OK.
However if she stays the same or gets worse have her call her doctor.

God's Blessings
