Ladies did anyone have a period late and take a pregnacy test and it came out negative and still no period?

Question:
See I took a test 2 weeks ago and I have not had a period since July 2 and it was was very light and I am 37. Please help if you had this problem too.

Answers:
it could be different factors

1. hormones

2. pre menopause ( some women have an onset as early as their 20's)

3. stress

5. lifestyle changes (diet, weight gain, weight loss)

I think you should see a gynecologist and have a pregnancy test done through a blood specimen, it could be you weren't far along enough for the urine pregnancy test to determine where you are pregnant or not it all depends on your hormonal level when you took the test, if you're not pregnat then other tests will be done like checking your hormone levels ( estrogen, progestrin, testoterone, and estradiol levels) to make sure they are not too low or high. I hope this info helps you. God Speed!

You're what we call, "dried up". Try some vegetable oil in that gash.
I have had this problem and then I started my period. Once I didn't even have my period but I was playing basketball in high school and that sometimes can mess you up . I hope it works out for you .
May need to contact the doctor they can tell you for sure.. But there are many reasons why you could miss a period.. Stressing about it will not help at all..
Well the same thing happened to my counsin the only advice I can give you is that you need to go see your doctor.
Two months ago I missed my period. I was scared so I had a pregnancy test but it was negative. I had to wait until the next menstrual cycle before having another test. It was late but the day I was to visit the doctor it came. I was relieved. My age is 41 and because I have lost an ovary in a past surgery, my doctor believes I am in early menapause.
Yes. That's actually has happend to me. At the time I was under ALOT of stress and that caused me not to ovulate. It took me a couple of months to get back on track.
my friend missed her menses for 3 months, took the test, negative, went to doctor, normal.. go to a doctor if u're unsure..
