why am I always so cold?!?

Question:
Could it be that I have a low body temperature? I once scared a new nurse who took my temp, looked at my chart, looked at the thermometer and then at me. I asked her if everything was OK and she said "Well, I guess this is normal for YOU".
Should I just wait it out with the shivers until I get old and fat?

Answers:
Iron deficiency, perhaps? Also, it would be a good idea to get your thyroid checked since that controls your temperature.
You could have poor blood circulation. If you smoke that could be the cause as well. As well as low blood pressure. Go see your family doc.
