The obvious first answer is make sure you are checked out by a doctor to make sure it's not a disease. It may be yeast - the doctor can tell you this. That's an inbalance and not a disease. Though you can get it from a man who has jock itch. If that's the case he would need to be treated too. There are over the counter remedies or prescription ones. There are lots of alternative views on yeast infections. Some believe you should take lacto-bacilli. Just don't get the ones with strep. Get acidopholus/bifidus. Some say that birth control pills or an acid diet and sugar (lots of Coca-cola) makes you more likely to have this. It is important to stay clean, cool and dry in that area whatever it is. Shower after sweating, dry yourself well before putting on underwear, and don't wear pants unless it's cold. And, above all do not wear panty-hose! If you must wear hose get a garter belt or some that stop at the thighs. Stay away from polyester on your bottom half including spandex. Wear light cotton or silk or rayon.

Other than that it could be too much mucus in your system. Avoid dairy products.

There's a small chance it may be bacterial overgrowth, but if it looks like cottage cheese it would be yeast. It can be hard to tell. Once again, the doctor can tell.

White discharges are cloudy secretions from the female reproductive tract especially from the vagina or cervix or both. Leucorrhoea is a medical term for white discharges which is an excessive secretion of the vagina. It is very common in females nowadays, i.e. more than 30 per cent of girls suffer from leucorrhoea and feel discomfort and pain. It may be mild to severe, and varies from person to person.
