Menstruation may begin. In the final stage, Tanner 5, between 12-16 yrs. old, there will be no further height increases (after 16), the breast has adult contour and the areola recess to general contour of breast, the pubes have adult distribution of hair spreading to the medial thigh (but not up linea alba).
