Answers:
Well technically your uterus never "ENRICHES" so it had shed the estra linning. Your uterus "ENRICHES" 1x a month to feed and protect the developing zygot and when no egg is implanted it shed the linning (your period) with the low dose hormones you never go thru that stage in your cycle
Although the exact mechanism is not known, it's believed that IUDs work by fooling the body into believing it's pregnant. When you're pregnant, you don't have periods. There's no build up of the uterine lining because you are not ovulating (remember, your body thinks it's pregnant) so there's nothing to expel.
