Yes, it can happen, depending on where he ejaculated. Think about it...those little sperm are microscopic in size. Especially near the opening of the vagina after sex, there are usually a lot of fluids/moisture present. If sperm wound up in one of these moist places, it might be able to swim from that point right into your vagina. It's like swimming in a pond vs swimming in an ocean.
