Well, I have this friend who is really close and dear to my heart. Last night she got rapped by this man who is really close to her. He lives in her house. I don't know what to do, I feel so used and dirty. She used a big bottle of hand sanitizer last night to wash myself with. She feels so dirty and so used. She does not know how to tell her husband, she is so terrified. I don't know what to do. . She does not understand how this could have happened, she never did anything to provoke this man who did what he did. I really need help, I wish I was dead, I want to die, I need comfort and I can't get it cause I can't tell anyone. My friend needs help, how can I help her, where can she go, what can she do? She can't go to the police, everyone will know and laugh, point a finger. No one can prove anything, I took I shower and used hand sanitizer all over. Please help my friend. I know that this topic is way to serious to talk.

Honey, it sounds like it was you that was raped.

No one will laugh at her if you go to the police. Rape victims are protected and allowed to be confidential. But it is important that she do it right away. Bring the clothes that she wore or any sheets or anything that may have gotten semen on it.

If she needs to she can have the police break the ice to her husband. He needs to know too. There is no need to feel ashamed though.

If you don't report this this man will rape other women too. You wouldn't want this to happen to another woman, would you? Maybe he has already raped another and she was scared to report it.

You say that you are on a border town? Report it to the American cops. Go to an American hospital and tell them that you have been raped. They will send a female officer to talk with you. I know that it happened on the Mexican side and is out of their jurisdiction, but they should be able to do a rape kit at least.

Also washing on the outside will not really remove trace semen from you internally.

If there was DNA evidence (semen in this case) the soap will not totally eliminate it. Go to your doctor, or the ER and ask for the SANE nurse.

first of all let someone know, if you cant go to the cops calla rape hotline. you need to let your hubby know also. you cant and shouldn't keep something like this from him, it will only make things worse. i have been raped and molested and its not a easy thing to go through no matter what. weather you provoked this guy has nothing to do with the fact that he raped you. their is no reason for someone to rape someone. But please hunny, let someone know.
