Partial Hysterectomy!?

Question:
If a woman had a partial Hysterectomy and they kept her ovaries. Is it possible to use the eggs in the overy for artificial insemmination? If a woman plans to have a baby later on and have a sister or a friend carry the baby for her can that work. Will the eggs still be good?

Answers:
*If* her ovaries are still working (despite what doctors tell you, a partial hysterectomy often *does* damage them--even though they're left in), then, yes, you could still have a baby that way with a surrogate.

Other Answers:
I am not an expert, but I would have to say yes, her eggs would be viable. Of course that is dependent on her age. If she is 50, I would not recommend it.
Yes
