Part 2 to a question about weight loss walking 2 to 3 miles a day?

Question:
I am 230 and I have been walking 2 to 3 miles a day since tuesday of last week. My goal is to lose about 10 lbs per month. I am eating way healthier and I push myself to jog and run a little as well. My question is, if I may not be able to walk every single day, just by the way that I eat, can I still lose 10 lbs per month? Now, I walk 5 times a week and I eat absolutely no junk food or sodas. I also try to get some excercizes (crunches and leg lifts) in the morning and at night. Do you think I can meet my goal?

Answers:
you dont have to exercise every day and if you did, do it for 30 minutes. dont strain yourself. definatly eating healthier will help as well. I even saw a difference just by cutting out soda and potato chips. now ice cream is a different story ;) Good for you though!
Shure! You should try exercising 45min keeping you cardio in 60BPM. The food you eat is the most important. Exercise is the complement. Keep eating 5 meals, drop the carbs and follow The Zone diet and you'll get what you want. Remember diets don't transform you in one day. Be patient. Good Luck!
