Burning Sensation on Nipple!?

Question: For the past couple of days I've felt this burning sensation on my left nipple. I've examined it and it doesn't appear that there is a cut or scratch at all. It's just a light burning sensation and is very sensitive to touch. Does anyone know what it could be?
