Trying to conceive. Having Pain. Any answers?

Question:
My husband and I are trying to conceive and we have one child who is 21 mos. I went off the pill 3 mos. ago and still nothing happening and then this month I started noticing pain (tmi here but it feels like something is being hit or bumped into) and then cramps that felt like labor pains for about an hour afterwards. I have had surgeries in the past could this be scar tissue? Should I tell a doctor about this? I'm kind of embarressed to go to the doctor just to tell him I have pain.

Answers:
It's always a good idea to call your doctor about unexpected pain, especially long lasting pain. If you've had abdominal surgery in the past, the scar tissue could cause problems if they have developed adhesions.

Have you tried any of the fertility tracking websites for tracking your cycles and ovulation? I found a couple that worked great for me this year.

good luck with resolving the pain and I hope you are able to conceive soon.

Other Answers:
better put your shy away and go; since he is the best to tell u the answer in your present situation
sweet heart u need to go to the docs. its a very good possibility that after ur surgeries u have developed scar tissue around ur cervix which is causing u not to conceive. as far as the pain thats something the doc needs to check out. i know its embarrassing but ur health is more important.
hope everything turns out for the best.
