I kicked my boyfriend in the nuts because he slept with a girl!?

Question: My boyfriend cheated on me, so I kicked him in the balls. As a result he lost a testicle!!! The kick was not that hard, I don’t know what happened! I feel so ashamed and guilty, I feel sick to my stomach. He will not press charges, but he does not want to see me again. He slept with a girl at a party because he was too drunk, he usually doesn’t drink. Will he ever forgive me? Anyone here had a similar experience? What can I do???

OMG honey, how awful, for you and for him. I'm sure you feel awful. Yeah, in time he will forgive you. He didn't deserve to lose his body part, but I'm sure he knows you didn't do it on purpose. Right now, I'm sure he's just a bit sore over it, rightfully so, but in time, he'll get over it. What you can do is keep apologizing and telling him that you never meant to injur him like that. And learn the lesson from it. You had every right to be angry with him, but never kick a man in the balls unless he's trying to rape you. That area is really sensitive. Use words and actions, not violence. But don't count on getting back with him, if that's what you mean. I'm pretty sure the relationship is over, hon.
