Irregular Periods.?

Question:
I'm almost 18 years old, and I have had irregular periods ever since i started having my periods. (around age 13.) I was wondering if there was anything I could do that would help regulate my periods. (other than see a doctor).. I saw something about Tahitian Noni Juice on an answer on here, but I have NO idea where I could be able to purchase it!

Answers:

Other Answers:
If you get on the pill it will regulate and ease your periods tremendously. Why not see a doc?? What are you afraid of?? It's really no big deal, hun..
i don't know where you could get that juice either, but try taking a look at your nutrition and exercise .. if those are okay, then try going on birth control to regulate it. if you're not sexually active there are pills like Trycyclin out there specifically for regulating periods
A good round of sex about the same time every month will get you started.
You can try Dong Quoi, Oil of Primrose Oil and Soy. Be sure to follow the dosage directions on the label. Just like conventional medications, you can overdose on herbs.
Honestly, you should definately see your doctor. You're young, so it could be normal, but theres also the chance that it could be a sign of something more serious. It's definately worth checking out, especially if it turns up to be a problem that, if left untreated, can cause infertility.
noni can be purchase at any store like Sam's club, walmart, any where with a pharmacy it is in that section of the store where hba or vitamins are. birth control is the best way to regulate and reduce pain. you can go to planned parenthood. to get bc pills you have to have an exam first before they will give them to you. good luck.
Call your gynecologist immediately. She has heard it all and there's no need to be embarrassed. With you having problems like this for so long, it could be serious and you need to get help soon. Also, don't rely on strangers on this site to answer important health questions that can affect your life--you will be told anything and everything, all from people who are clueless as to what's wrong with you.

I can't suggest anything other than contraceptive pills. I never had a regular peiod in 20-years without them.

As for Noni juice..don't buy it anywhere other than from a registered supplier! The Noni juice you buy from retail outlets is not the real thing! It'll be cheaper..& that's your clue!

Just accept your body for the way it is. Sure, it's inconvenient..but it's natural!
Really, being the age you are your hormones are crazy at is is. Being a girl doesn't help and sometimes the pill doesn't either. But, I would see your GYN and at least try a pill, b/c alot of people are happy with the regulation after starting the pill.
Why do you want to? I used to exercise heavily and LIKE only having to have a period a few times a year! Unless you're having major bleeding or cramping, ignore it. You aren't trying to have a baby at this age, after all.

Being overweight could be a major factor. It can cause fertility problems later in life, too, in addition to pregnancy complications.

It could be something else (like ovarian cysts), so see your doctor!
Well, your irregular periods may just be your REGULAR.or there are other things such as Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) and other problems with the female reproduction..

I would see about gettin on the pill..that may be all you need to make your periods regular..

And..you can get Noni juice at like vitamin stores such as GNC, VitaminWorld, etc..

Good Luck

Oh and don't listen to the person that said just ignore it because you aren't thinking about having kids.the things you do now can help prevent potential complications.
I would go see the doctor and get things figured out..
