Ladies: What are some myths you heard you can do to make your period come if it's like a day late?

Question:
I'm not pregnant. I know that for sure and my period should have been here between thursday and today. I have heard of things like taking warm baths (which I've tried and it worked) to do to make your period come instead of just waiting for it. Has anyone else heard of some things to do?
I'm trying to get it started and over with because there are some things I want to do next week and I don't want my period holding me up...I'm over 21 so suggest away with anything you've known to work.

Answers:
Having sex always jumpstarts mine if it's running a little late.

The answer is yes. A woman may stop getting her period for a variety of reasons:

She's having a health problem.
She's pregnant.
She's reached menopause - a time in life when older women (45 to 55 years old) stop getting periods and can no longer have babies.
There's usually no cause for alarm if a girl's period is irregular. This means that it doesn't come exactly every month, like it does for older girls and woman. Problems with hormones or health problems, such as an eating disorder, can cause girls or women to stop getting their periods. So at any age, if your period just stops, you need to check with your doctor.

The two most common reasons women stop getting their periods are not health problems. They are pregnancy and menopause. In pregnancy, periods stop until some time after the baby is born. In menopause (say: meh-nuh-pawz), which occurs in older women, periods stop forever!
I've used parsley tea. It's cheap and easy and actually seems to work.
Sex always helps mine start
