That was exactly my question. almost. I'm 5'3" 155-160 lbs and I am 13. My doctor told me I'm fine, if I wanted to lose a little just exercise more ((i'm diabetic)) I swim, play basketball and softball, and am outside all the time. I am pretty muscular for a girl, and I feel good about myself. Anyways, my boyfriend says he likes that I got a little something to me.. You're gorgeous the way you are, but if it would make you feel better, lose a few pounds. My boyfriend loves me for who I am, my parents love me, my friends, and other people I know. no , thats not normal weight , its a bit overweight to be honest , a girl your age should only weigh about 100-110 you're probably like because of your height and straingth but what ever it is i'm sure that it's not bad and just don't think negotive! stay strong!

It is entirely possible to be that heavy and still be healthy. If you are active, eating good, and feeling good, who cares about a number? I've spent so much of my life hung up on how much I weigh that I haven't paid attention to the other things in life like how to have fun! Don't get worried about it now when you've got so much life ahead of you! The other thing to remember is that you're going through puberty right now, and it's VERY normal for girls to have a "chubby phase". Again, I wouldn't worry about it. Just make sure you are healthy and happy.
