What's that disease called when a woman miscarries due to high blood pressure?

Question:
I have a friend that just miscarried due to high blood pressure. She had never had a problem with it before. She told me what the name of the disease was called but I can't remember it now. Can anyone help me out plz?

Answers:
Pre-eclamsia......this disorder can also have seizures! Just give your friend support and love. Sounds like she needs it. Most the time this problem will resolve after the pregnancy is over. The doctor may have to give your friend something to control her blood pressure next time?
Pre-eclampsia? I had that at the end of one of my pregnancies, but I don't know if it could cause a miscarriage. It's when you GET high blood pressure from being pregnant. As soon as you deliver, your pressure goes back to normal.
