A way to get insurance to cover breast reduction surgery?

Question:
I am 22 years old and up until this year my breast size was a Full C since age 14. Recently my breasts have been growing exponentially. I am at a size DDD now and my body is suffering for it. My back hurts so badly, to the point where I can't sit up straight without having pain. I'm wondering if there is any way to have my insurance cover a reduction surgery. If anyone is familiar with United Healthcare's policies, it would be greatly appreciated. SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY PLEASE!

You just have to present the right symptoms in the right words, then it's up to your doctor to present these symptoms in a convincing way to your insurance company, so make sure you have a good relationship with your doctor.

They are going to most likely look for things like back pain, shoulder pain, indentions in your skin from the bra strap, difficulty in keeping your posture straight, pain reliever doesn't help, this interferes in your daily life, and things like that.

Talk to your doctor and get a second opinion if necessary.
My friend recently had a breast reduction and she is on medical assistance through the state of Pa, i am sure as long as you get a dr's note from a chiropractor or a regualr dr, they do have to cover it. I would call ur regualr dr and check with the chiro[practor to get the rx for a reduction.
