What stops itching?

Question:

Vericose veins are leaching iron into skin according to dermatologist. It itches like crazy. Does anyone have a solution. The doc prescribed some cream but it doesn't work very well. No surgery is available. I already use support hose and moisturizing creams. Any ideas? Thanks

It sounds like you might want to have the varicose veins surgically repaired so the leaching stops. I searched the web and couldn't find anything on this - sorry.

Get them operated on, as far as I know, it's the only cure and works miracles!

Rubbing the inside of a banana peel works to stop mosquito bites from itching. Sounds crazy, I know. Maybe it will help this too. try a heating pad and hydrocortisone

Use Preparation H hemmoriod cream. Works everytime.
