Could cave men cook fish and chips?


Question:
OK depending where the potato is in the world. Lets say for arguments sake it is at Stonehenge. Oil is made out of sunflowers, flour is made out of oats, eggs are from chickens, vinegar from gone off apples etc. If I was born back then would I have be onto something. Thinking big and all that??

i dont think they had the knowledge..but london surely has the best fish and chips depends one where they lived and how far they were evolved if they lived near the water i think they would cook fish but i dont know if they were smart enough to cook potatoes..i think they didnt even farm untill they came to the "New World" as Columbus called it

Certainly you wouldn't have had sunflowers or potatoes, as neither existed in the UK at that time, doubtful; whether there were chickens either, but there are other sources of eggs. Certainly no controllable heat for frying, so likely to burst into flames as you would be cooking over open flames.
