Answers:
If it's whitish or clear and has no odor and it lasts about two days, then it's probably nothing (just ovulation discharge). If it's odorous, lasts more than two days, it's trich and you need to be treated fast.
What are you doing to your life having unprotected sex anyway? You're worth more than that.
The only way to be able to tell if it is trich or not it to get a vaginal swab and look under the microscope.
If the doctor did not do that, then he cant say it is not trich.
I had it before
I had no symptoms!
Except for excessive discharge
so I went to the health unit and they swab and looked at it and gave me a diagnosis immediatly.
If you think it is that- go to the health clinic oe std clinic in your area.
GoodLuck!
Your doctor thinks it is trichomonas vaginalis because it is a common cause of vaginal discharge, but there are many other causes, especially candida albicans (thrush). Candida causes a frothy, strong smelling discharge, accompanied by itching of the vulva. Candida is usually associated with long term antibiotic treatment or a weakened immune system (HIV, diabetes, malnutrition, steroid therapy). It is very treatable with a vaginal cream
