Hello..I really sympathize you and I know for what severity you talk about. If you take my advice, please go and see a doctor( a real specialist to prescribe you the right pain-killer), Ibuprofen is too light for such condition. DON'T TAKE RECKLESSLY STRONG PAIN-KILLERS,BECAUSE THEY CAN HARM YOU..IF THE PAIN IS SO UNBEARABLE,CALL YOUR GP,GO TO THE NEAREST EMERGENCY UNIT,THEY IMMEDIATELY ARE OBLIGED TO REACT AND WILL SHOT YOU SOME SUITABLE PAIN-KILLER..THE PROPOSED REMEDIES FROM OTHER PALS CAN BE APPLIED BUT IT'S PERICULOUS..AND BY THE WAY FOR MOST OF THOSE DRUGS YOU NEED A SPECIAL RECIPY..BEST OF LUCK!

take tab.dicyclomine 20mg once a day or tab danazol 200mg once a day if ur age is more than 35
You can try Tylenol with Codeine. Its a stronger pain killer but I believe you can get it in ER and by prescription in doctors office. Good luck
I had a hysterectomy and all the pain went away. I know what you are going through.
vicodin or its generic hydrocodone, or darvocet. You do need a prescription for them, but they work. Also if you are worried about drowsiness, darvocet doesnt make you as sleepy as vicodin. good luck.
see ur gyno, they will probably put u on some kind of birth control pill, and it will help it u get the right kind. endometriosis runs in my family most of the females in my family have it. try those heating pads, they make the ones that go on ur belly, u can get them at walmart, they last like 8 hours or more, and they are awsome
I take birth control pills and have no pain and hardly ever have period.
No more pain.
I tired several type of painkillers and onthing worked real well and stuff that sort of worked made me sleepy and I could not function well.
Try a hot water bottle at home and heat patch(drugstore) when out and about. Check out the Institute of Female Alternative Surgery, I had very painful periods due to fibroids and was recommended to have a hysterectomy. I opted to have this cutting edge surgery instead and feel like I have been liberated(and I still have my hormone producing ovaries). I cannot say enough about this center nor it's staff. They are wonderful!!.

I had surgery on the 24th of May, and whatever they did stopped all the pain.
think you could ask your doctor for Mefenemic Acid as a starter and if not Co-proximil as my daughter had same problem and this worked for her. You do not say what age you are but if you have been lucky enough to have children then great but if not and you would like to have children then a laparoscopy is good to see what is going on and sometimes progesterone like Duphaston can help and not impair fertility even though it is also used within hormone replacement therapy. My daughter went on to have two lovely girls after they removed some of the adhered tissues and cleared her fallopian tubes. if you have completed family and/or not wanting children and only interested in pain control then the two above are the best for gynaecology-orientated pain. Wish you all the best and hope you find a healthy solution as the drugs only treat the symptoms; so always best to be referred to gynaecologist for all the help you can get to find if they can do anything to help you with the endometriosis long term!
You can ask for Rx painkillers and try OTC ones like Percogesic, etc. However, your best bet will come from having the Endo totally removed such as through excision. See www.centerforendo.com to learn about surgical excision at the top specialty treatment center in the world. Get yourself a TENS machine - you can buy them (I think you have to be prescribed them in the US though)

I got one for joint pain but its brilliant for period type pain too.

I think every household should have one cos my boyfriend nicks mine now when he gets stress headaches or backache.
You do need to go to your doctor, and get seen and treated by a specialist. Do not take no for an answer. I have been put on Long acting Ibuprofen and mefenamic acid to help, but TENS machines and heat pads can help too.

Mainly, you need to be treated for the condition, rather than just trying to deal with the symptoms.

Be very careful about mixing over the counter drugs and what they can do to you. You have to play off the side effects against any pain relief they can give you.

Good luck!
