stress affecting my period?
Question:
Answers:
In my experience, yes this has been the case. I found also that if I worried about my period coming (if it didn't come on time), the worrying would actually delay the start of my period. Stress can indeed have this effect on it. But if you're worried at all, see your doctor. The fact that you've never had a regular cycle worries me just a bit. (Mine have always been like clockwork.) Also try to destress...take a relaxing walk...or a bubble bath...listen to some soft classical music...I find that writing down, in list form, all the things that are stressing me at that point in my life really helps to pinpoint where the problems are, and which things aren't really worth worrying about. Hope this helps! :-)
Stress basically effects EVERYTHING in your body. I've completely skipped periods due to stress.
