period length?

Question:
is there a way to make your period shorter every month?

Answers:
Yes a new birth control just cam out that is suppose to make it so you have shorter menstruation. They also have Birth control pills so you only have period every 3 months.

Other Answers:
The pill can do this for you. Also the 'more you exercise' the faster it flows, so that can shorten it as well. Other than that, look into the new pill that lets you have a period only every 3 months - that's awesome!
Exercise regularly. That works for me. It also reduces cramping.

Much Love!!
consult with your gyn there are birth control methods that can regulate the period for you it is not healthy to tamper with mother nature a period is your body's way of eliminating harmful toxins from your body and it is important to allow your body to run its course
A Mirena IUD last 5 yrs has hormones that are released continualy. Slows heavy flows and after approx 3-6 months of having it placed you "may" have no periods at all or ones that are short and light enough to use only a panty liner. Not to mention its birth control. Check into it. I love mine! Got it at age 34 yrs. because as I have gotten older my periods got a lot heavier. I became iron deficant, fatigue and felt horrible.
This may sound crazy but I was told from one of my chick friends eating bananas!! I did try it by eatting three a day and it did shorten my period by two days. Try it!!
