Tell me if it's safe sex?

Question:
I'm 18 years old, and my boyfriend and I are experimenting with sex. Because of a health problem, I cannot take birth control. So we use spermicidal condoms and spermicidal vaginal foam for protection. He also withdraws before ejaculation. Is this an effective measure against pregnancy? I also thought about adding something called a sponge. I don't plan on getting pregnant, so is this method safe?

Answers:
Sweetie first of all nothing is 100% but you are going the right way about it ...when in doubt using a combo of things is a great choice to prevent pregnancy. Good Luck

Other Answers:
only method that's 100% safe is no sex at all, but you sound like you're not taking any risks, so you're less likely to get pregnant
Using 2 condoms could be even safer but the feeling will be almost gone (for him). However, it will take him so much longer to ejaculate that you will have a much better time.

Withdrawing is just overkill and I know that it really is not a nice thing to do. Condom is good enough, withdrawal is like a tease!
Yeah, having no sex would be best. But sounds like you've been doing some homework. Good Luck to you and be careful!
Pulling out is not full proof a mans sperm is coming out at all times it only comes out at a full load at ejaculation. Have you tried the patch or the depo shot?
Let me get this right...you use:
1. Condoms with spermicidal cream
2. Spermicidal vaginal foam
3. He pulls back before ejaculation
and you want to use a sponge TOO ??!!

That is a.....bit too much. Condom is good enough according to my experience, if you're a bit scared you can always use two condoms (one on top of the other), but more than this is not needed. Certainly the poor chap pulling back....I'm empathising here....

Take reasonable precautions and just ENJOY IT!! It's supposed to be FUN !!
If you got pregant after all that I would say it is immaculate conception. As long as you use all those methods all the time you are having beyond safe sex you are having the safest sex ever. The only way you guys would be safer is if you wore full body condoms.
