I have some questions about edometriosis.?
Question:
Answers:
Don't worry dear, it is a very simple procedure & a necessity for your case. Endometriosis if not seen into will cause you various problems. It is important for doctors to become sure that endometriosis is casuing the signs.
Laparoscopy is performed rapidly & has now replaced many former procedures. I haven' seen any patients complaining afterwards :-)
Don't doubt it & go straight forward. Good luck.

I had one done four weeks ago, and I am fine. They went on ahead and removed what I had. I was sore for a couple of days but good. I hardly even have a scar.
All the signs of endometriosis are there and unfortunately, the only way it can be diagnosed with surety is to go in and take a look.
Laparoscopy is direct visualization of the peritoneal cavity, ovaries, outside of the tubes and uterus by using a laparoscopy. The laparoscopy is an instrument somewhat like a miniature telescope with a fiber optic system which brings light into the abdomen. It is about as big around as a fountain pen and twice as long.
Plus everthing you want to know about the surgery in the link..
that could be a cyst that must be taken out. my friend got operated because her right ovary was the cyst itself. she also had pains like you on one part of her abdomen and she found out that she had a cyst after she had an ultrasound. you should have an ultrasound too, maybe you have the same problem. we hope not.
take care.
The Endo Research Center has a TON of free info and support, including their Laparoscopy Manual document. Make sure you check out all their info and speak with others who understand. Also, make sure your doc intends to remove ALL disease from ALL locations using excision - if she's not, you are setting yourself up for repeat surgeries and hormonal suppression meds like Lupron. Start at the top with a specialist, so you can avoid the years of mistreatment so many of us have gone through.
