2 month late period (no sex no pills)?

Question:
my period started 2 years ago so i know i'm suposed to be irregular for the first year but it's a year latter. i've never had sex or took birth control pills or any type of pills and i'm to nervous to tell my mom, so can i get some advice please and thank you.

Answers:
Sweetie, you need to tell your mom. If you haven't had sex, then there's no reason to be nervous. If your period is irregular, than this is a health issue. Your mom loves you, and will want to make sure you're okay.

If you really can't talk to your mom, then I would suggest going to a clinic or Planned Parenthood. If you seek out medical attention on your own, the provider, under law, cannot tell anyone anything unless you give them permission.

Good luck!
Don't be nervous to tell your mom girl. She's a woman and was your age once, remember that. However, some things going on in your life can cause your period to become irregular. Did school just start? Did you loose or gain any significant amount of weight? Think about your diet, stress levels, activity levels, etc. You really should see a doctor. You may have something going on. I'm not tell you that to scare you, but you never know. Sometimes, doctors put people on the pill to help regulate their periods. Welcome to hectic world of womanhood. d
