I need help with this! BAD!!?

Question:
I have NEVER used a tampon before! MY docter says sometimes my vaginal opening closes over for a few days, but if that happened then i wouldn't be bleeding so i know that it didn't close. BUT, i can't put my tampon in. I can't find the vaginal opening to put it in adn its my VERY first time using it. What should i do. I usually only wear pads but ssince it's been so hott i've been swimming every day adn i need to know how to use a tampon! HELP ME!

Answers:
Sometimes it helps to dip the tampon in KY Jelly or some other kind of lube to help it slip in easier. Also, try using a tampon with a soft plastic applicator that is rounded instead of a cardboard one that might hurt more. Never hurts to see another doctor to get a second opinion either. Good luck girl!

Other Answers:
use Pads.

OK,,,if you really don't know how to, you should ask an older female relative. I personally don't use a tampon. A pad is better, but if you need it for swimming, it's fine. You can go to your gynecologist or physician and ask them yourself. They will have better explanations and they will show you how to do it. oh gawd is there a mother in the house? older sister? any older female?

Don't be embarrassed, use a small hand mirror to see what you're doing. When you can see where it goes you will be able to do it.

try sitting on the toilet when inserting the tampon. feel for the hole with your finger. ( Again, it's your body. Don't feel embraced)
Then and put the tampon up in the vagina. Make sure you can at least feel it or be able to touch the string. Sure enough, this can be uncomfortable especially if it's your first time. Good luck well use pads. don't try to force something that will not go.
