ok so i went to my gynecologist to ask for those tablets u take to postpone your period. I thought she was going to give me norethindrone or norethisterone..whichever name it is.5 mg...to take 3 times daily.3 to 4 days before my period and continue on...but she gave me provera 5mg (the pill not the shot) to take for 10 days and only once a day.does anyone know if that will do the same job as the norethindrone? does that sound right at all? please help anyone who knows..thanks

maybe you should go back and discuss it with her, im sure she will be much more knowledgable as to the effects of this drug as she is a professional.
I've never done this but my daughter has because she didn't want her period whilst she was doing her Deb night. She just continued taking the pill instead of having the week break on the sugar pills. I've heard of others doing this and it works. It's not recommended for long term. She never had any problems afterwards.
