Get a second opion and if possible, an ultrasound IMMEDIATELY! When this happened to me the several Drs I met ignored it and I ended up almost dying, but don't panic, get it investigated straight away, mine was a huge, solitary fibroid sucking my blood out of me.
It might not be this, but definitely POSITIVELY.
GET IT CHECKED ASAP!

If a Doctor doesn't know, how are we expected to.
umm i have no idea it could just b a bruise or something like u hit or or something like that
You should call the office where you had the exam and let a nurse with access to your med records clarify this for you. That is the way to find out for sure.
maybe a cyst are absess my aunt had an absess and had to have it removed as it was painfull and kept swelling up

well, did you tell the doctor that it hurt? if you didn't, maybe thats why she didn't make a big deal of it. or, it might not be a big deal at all.
but to be safe, what you should do, is call your doctors office asap and if you can't talk to your doctor, (like shes not in or shes busy or whatever) explain to whoever answers the phone the situation and that you need to make sure its nothing serious, that your kinda worried.
if they say, its no big deal and you talk to your doctor or whatever, but if your still feeling a little uneasy about the dismisal of it, you could always get a second oppinion!
call a different office, maybe talk to someone there and schedule an appointment.
if you can't do that, your local health center/planned parenthood will examine you for a donation(here you have to pay a small fee) or in some places its free. do it soon and good luck with everything!

I would get a second opinion. Maybe go to a GUM clinic, because they're friendly, helpful and really good. Any unexplained lumps should be checked out, as should any unexplained pain. It could well be harmless, but you're well within your rights to at least find out what it was.

the doctor should totally have told you what it was! Could be a cyst (dont worry theyre not that bad) Definatlely get a 2nd opinion and dont be embarrassed, it's better to get it sorted!!
