Tampon help?

Question:
ok im 13 and i was thinking about using tampons for sports cause the pads are getting really annoying. ive never used a tampon before and was wondering two things:

1. wats the difference between a OB tampon and a regular one

2. Are Playtex Sports the best ones?

btw if it matters ive prolly had my period for a year and a half

Answers:
1. an ob is a brand that does not have an applicator. You will be inserting it with your finger. That may or may not be an issue for you.

2. The best brand is different for different women. Sorry I can't be more clear than that. For starting out, you might prefer Playtex Gentle Glide.

Hope this helps. I was in a similar position not too long ago..
OB tampons are a brand and they usually or always dont come with an applicator so you will be self inserting the tampon inside yourself. as for playtex sports i find most tampons to be the same, i've tried many many different brands and my fav so far is the pearl
OB is a brand. I prefer Tampax Pearl, but it's different for everyone. Start out with the light ones to begin with. Make sure to change it often. Good luck!
uv nevr used tampons?? wierd
OB tampons don't have an applicator. That means you have to insert it fairly far into your vagina with just your finger. This may not be the best choice for you at first.

I have found Pearls to be the best, but it is all opinion really. I would recommend a plastic applicator over cardboard though. They are gentler.

Don't get too frustrated if you can't wear tampons yet though. I couldn't until I was a little older.
ob dont have abalcators go for playtex
you should totally go with the Playtex sport because Playtex is a great brand and if you do sports it would really help. also since you have never used a tampon before you need to read the box really well before use. there are risks if you forget you have one in and that is not hard to do with Playtex because they are really comfortable and you don't know it's there.
1. An O.B. tampon is a brand of tampon that supplies them WITHOUT an applicater. For a first time tampon user, I don't recommend them until you are used to and comfortable with a regular tampon (WITH an applicater).

2. Playtex Sports tampons are great. They have a plastic applicater so they slide in easily, and are easily to pop in there. For a beginner, I recommend you try Playtex SlimFits. They have a plastic applicater but are much slender than the others because they're marketed for first-time tampon users.

Good Luck!
im totally afraid to use tampons cuz im afraid it mite get stuck or something..but if u figure it out good
1. ob's have no applicator u insert it w/ your finger.. the others have a plastic or cardboard applicator that u insert... the tampon is inside the applicator its much easier!

2. i prefer tampax pearl they are really comfy also they give great protection ive never had a leak w/ them! they are alittle more pricy but worth it

3. u can start using tampons any time your ready! :)
