periods at first will not be regular. four or five days for a period to last is completely normal. if youre using tampons, use a super size as opposed to a regular. Also, to have varying flow rates is normal and everyones period will get stronger when they stand up as the force of gravity will help to pull blood downward. It should start to lighten up and go away completely within the next day or two. some women have periods lasting up to seven days which is still completely normal.
As for swimming, blood flow temporarily stops when in water... so its OK to go for a swim, just make sure to go to the bathroom and use a pad or tampon immediately after getting out of the pool.
its normal, because its only your 2nd, but if it doesnt stop by saturday, you need to go see a doctor. he'll give you some hormone pills or birth control to stop it. you'll be ok ;-)
normal periods last 5-7 days and it changes as you grow older but the amount of blodd varies. Mine starts out heavier and then trickles down to nothing. So hang in there
it gets more regular after awhile.hey-whenever i get mine its for 2 weeks every 2 weeks, so don't cry..mine sucks...last time i had it for 37 days.the worst thing of my life..so now im on birth control and only get it 4-5 times a year..HALLELUJA~ good luck
if this is only your 2nd period then it is most likely normal for it to be diferent from your first. it takes about a year for your body to get used to having a period. you will often experience diferences.
If you barely started your period it is normal for it to last a couple of days your period tries to regulate it self so sometimes you might miss it. Don't get scared it is normal! When you do go swimming try to use a tampon.Don't be scared to use one and no you don't lose your virginity if you do use one!
