Go to the doc. It could be normal, or it could be something like PCOS (poly cystic ovarian syndrome). Have you ever had a pelvic exam. You are old enough to get one; it isnt that bad once you do it once.
well, for some ppl it is always irregular and if you would like to be regulated try BC ( birth control) it helps regulate your periods and decrease simptoms such as cramps, headaches, ect...
It can take years for your period to fully regulate. I've had mine for 11 years now and it still isn't quite regular. It's completely normal. Talk to your parents and let them know what's going on. It definitely wouldn't hurt to go to the doctor if you are worried, but I wouldn't be too worried. It's a normal part of the process! Good luck!
What you are experiencing is perfectly normal. Your cycle is trying to get on track, but it seems to be having issues. Usually, doctors will put you on birth control in order to even everything out. Then, your period will be at the same time every month, and you get the benefit of always knowing when that will be. Dont be so worried about it all, it really is normal. I would just suggest scheduling an appointment with your doctor to discuss your options.
Sometimes if you're really sporty/active, your periods can become irregular. You should probably go to your doctor, though. If it is a problem for you, your doctor can prescribe you a form of birth control or something.
I know exactly what your going through. I started my period when I was 11, it jumped months and at times I got my period twice in one month. It took about 5 years for my period to regulate, but I was pretty much cramp free before it did. Now since it's been pretty regular my cramps get worse and I'm always feeling as though I am bleed to death (sorry, if that scares you). I do still skip the occassional period or it's a few days to a week or more off, but it's pretty much normal. If you have a lot of sisters that could throwing your period around, that was my case. In my house it was my mother, my brother, me and 3 sisters. You period will straighten out in time, theres is absolutly nothing to worry about. If you fell like you need to talk to someone, go see your doctor and talk with them about it, but it will fix itself.
